ARDBEG Scorch Committee Release

Located on the southern coast of Islay, an island in Scotland. Ardbeg whiskies are known for their intensely smoky and peaty character, which stems from the traditional production methods employed at the distillery. The malt used in Ardbeg’s whiskies is malted with peat, which imparts a distinctive smoky flavour during the drying process. The whiskies often feature complex layers of maritime, briny, and medicinal notes, with hints of citrus and chocolate.

Released in April 2021, Ardbeg Scorch has been matured in the most heavily charred ex-Bourbon casks that the distillery has ever used.
