MACALLAN The Harmony Collection / Rich Cacao

Macallan is a renowned Scottish whisky distillery located in Craigellachie, in the Speyside region of Scotland. Founded in 1824, Macallan has established a reputation for producing some of the world’s finest single malt Scotch whiskies. Macallan whiskies are highly regarded for their exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and rich flavours. The distillery is known for its commitment to traditional production methods and meticulous attention to detail. Macallan exclusively uses Scottish barley and distills its whisky in copper pot stills, which contribute to the distinct character and depth of flavour found in their expressions.

Introduced in 2021, The Harmony Collection from Macallan is an exploration into the world of sustainable packaging, in an effort coexist harmoniously with the environment. We’ll assume that some importance was placed upon the whisky as well, as this first edition represents yet another collaboration with chef Jordi Roca, of El Cellar De Can Roca. Whisky Maker Polly Logan had the job of traveling to the restaurant and experiencing the chocolate making process that has inspired the Rich Cacao release
