THE CUT Single Malt Whiskey – Hand Crafted in NZ

“It is Nelson-made. There was a distillery here at the port, they made a single malt whiskey, there is one in Takaka – he makes a single malt whiskey and we make a single malt whiskey.”

Nelson is well known for its craft beer and good wine – less acknowledged is the small number of craft distilleries that are dotted around the region.  One of them, Liquid Alchemy, is now celebrating the release of their new single malt whiskey called The Cut.  Distiller Jurgen Voigtlander said it is one of the few single malt whiskeys being introduced from the region.
