Glengyle is a distillery located in Campbeltown, Scotland, known for producing fine single malt Scotch whisky. Originally established in 1872, the distillery faced several closures and changes of ownership throughout its history. However, it was resurrected in 2004 and renamed Glengyle Distillery. Under the ownership of the Mitchell family, who also owns the renowned Springbank Distillery, Glengyle has gained a reputation for its traditional production methods and commitment to quality. This 2021 edition of the 16 year old Kilkerran has been aged in 75% ex-Bourbon and 25% ex-Sherry casks.
