Located on the southern coast of Islay, an island in Scotland. Ardbeg whiskies are known for their intensely smoky and peaty character, which stems from the traditional production methods employed at the distillery. The malt used in Ardbeg’s whiskies is malted with peat, which imparts a distinctive smoky flavour during the drying process. The whiskies often feature complex layers of maritime, briny, and medicinal notes, with hints of citrus and chocolate.

This is a private single cask for Australia Exclusive which was distilled in 2000 aged in refill bourbon barrel before bottled in 2022, limited to 177 bottles.
