Bunnahabhain (pronounced “Boo-na-ha-ven”) is a distillery located on the northeastern coast of the Isle of Islay in Scotland. It is known for producing single malt Scotch whiskies that often have a unique and distinctive character compared to other Islay whiskies. Bunnahabhain was established in 1881 and is situated in a remote and picturesque location overlooking the Sound of Islay. The distillery draws its water from the nearby Margadale Spring, which contributes to the whisky’s flavour profile.

This version of the 18 year old has been aged exclusively in ex-Sherry casks. It was launched in 2018, now labelled as a “small batch” release.
