Bunnahabhain (pronounced “Boo-na-ha-ven”) is a distillery located on the northeastern coast of the Isle of Islay in Scotland. It is known for producing single malt Scotch whiskies that often have a unique and distinctive character compared to other Islay whiskies. Bunnahabhain was established in 1881 and is situated in a remote and picturesque location overlooking the Sound of Islay. The distillery draws its water from the nearby Margadale Spring, which contributes to the whisky’s flavour profile.
