Highland Park is a highly esteemed distillery located in Kirkwall, Orkney, Scotland. Established in 1798, it is one of the most northerly whisky distilleries in the country. Highland Park is known for its commitment to traditional whisky-making methods and its distinctive style that reflects the rugged and mystical nature of the Orkney Islands. Highland Park whiskies are crafted using locally sourced ingredients, including the aromatic peat found on Orkney. The peat used in the malting process contributes to the whisky’s flavour, lending a subtle smokiness and earthiness. The whiskies are double distilled in copper pot stills, which further enhances their character.

Full Volume was released in 2017. It was aged in exclusively first fill bourbon barrels and hogsheads for 17-18 years. 481 casks for this whisky were specifically laid down in 1999 to “do something rocking.”
