Longrow was first distilled in 1973, a brand of single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Springbank Distillery, located in the historic whisky region of Campbeltown. Named after the former distillery that once operated in Campbeltown, Longrow is known for its distinctive and peaty character. The production of Longrow whisky involves a double distillation process, similar to other Springbank whiskies, and the use of traditional methods that emphasise quality and craftsmanship.
The 2020 addition to the Longrow Rred series was aged for 7 years in bourbon barrels before being finished for 3 years in refill Malbec Barriques from De Toren Private Cellar in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
Only 10,000 bottles were produced.
