Located in Wick, The Old Pulteney was built in 1826. The whiskies produced by Old Pulteney often exhibit a combination of fruity, malty, and briny flavours. They are celebrated for their complexity and balance, with a notable briny, salty tang reminiscent of the sea. This unique coastal influence is attributed to the maturation process and the use of ex-bourbon casks, which contribute to the whisky’s character.
