ARDBEG Kelpie Committee Release
ARDBEG Kelpie Committee
Located on the southern coast of Islay, an island in Scotland. Ardbeg whiskies are known for their intensely smoky and peaty character, which stems from the traditional production methods employed at the distillery. The malt used in Ardbeg’s whiskies is malted with peat, which imparts a distinctive smoky flavour during the drying process. The whiskies often feature complex layers of maritime, briny, and medicinal notes, with hints of citrus and chocolate.
This Ardbeg Committee release for 2017, this was matured in virgin casks crafted from oak grown on land in the Adyghe Republic – a Russian federal subject just north of Georgia, on the northeast coast of the Black Sea.
