ARDBEG Galileo 1999

Located on the southern coast of Islay, an island in Scotland. Ardbeg whiskies are known for their intensely smoky and peaty character, which stems from the traditional production methods employed at the distillery. The malt used in Ardbeg’s whiskies is malted with peat, which imparts a distinctive smoky flavour during the drying process. The whiskies often feature complex layers of maritime, briny, and medicinal notes, with hints of citrus and chocolate.

Released in 2012, aged for 12-13 years, the Galileo is a combination of casks matured in 1st-fill bourbon casks and enhanced with a finishing in ex-Marsala Wine casks.
