Benrinnes Distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery located in the Speyside region of Scotland. It is situated near the village of Aberlour, close to the River Spey. The distillery was established in 1826 by Peter Mackenzie, John Innes, and Donald Macintosh. The production process at Benrinnes is somewhat unique compared to other distilleries, as it utilizes a partial triple distillation method. Most Scotch whiskies undergo double distillation, but at Benrinnes, some of the spirit is distilled twice, while the remainder goes through a third distillation in a “worm tub” condenser. This unusual distillation process is believed to contribute to the character of the whisky, giving it a robust and complex flavor profile.

This Benrinnes was distilled in 2009 and bottled from #301811 in 2020.
