Springbank is a renowned distillery located in Campbeltown, a historic whisky-producing region in Scotland. Established in 1828, Springbank is one of the few remaining family-owned distilleries in Scotland, known for its commitment to traditional production methods and exceptional craftsmanship. Springbank whiskies are highly regarded for their distinct and complex flavours. The distillery takes pride in conducting the entire whisky-making process on-site, from malting its own barley to bottling the final product. This vertical integration allows Springbank to have complete control over the whisky’s quality and character.
Released in late 2022, this is the first in Springbank’s Sherry Wood series. This whisky was distilled in July 2012 and aged in Bourbon casks for 7 years the finished in ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for 3 years, bottled in 55% with limited release of 10800 bottles world wide.
